Nolan went to school with a dangling front tooth and came home looking like this! This makes #3. The tooth fairy came last night and almost got tricked! Nolan put his tooth in a cup of water by his bed so the fairy would have to touch the water to get it out. Did you know when a fairy touches water it changes color?

Not so loose tooth...

Nolan wanted his loose tooth to just come out already. He asked me to pull it out. We tried the old handy dental floss trick. Okay, as you can see from the video, it is SO not loose enough to be pulled. Towards the end of the video, I tried to pull it quick but his whole head jerked forward.nice. (not really)

An hour later....

After swallowing and seeing too much blood. (because I yanked it when it was NOT ready to be pulled) Nolan started to feel sick to his stomach. I feel so bad because at this point we cannot just let it dangle, and we have been messing around with it for over an hour so it is sore! :( In this video we are not laughing anymore.

Nolan went to bed at 7pm with a long strand of dental floss still tied to his tooth. He will not let me touch it. I wouldn't let me touch it either if I were him. I will keep you posted if he goes to school with a tooth leash. Poor boy. The tooth fairy owes him big for pain and suffering on this one.

Easter 2010

Yum, nothing like solid chocolate at 7am. Nolan and Ben have been on a candy and soda 'deal.' Here's the deal, I told the kids if they can go a WHOLE entire year without candy or soda I'd give them $100. Chris thought it was great because he did not think they could do it, so he said he'd throw in another $100 making it $200! Well it was July 13th when this deal was made, Ben and Nolan have done GREAT! Baylie after 1 month ate gummie worms. (a month is AWESOME btw, I couldn't do it!) So it being Easter Sunday, we gave them a free day from their candy deal. They ate chocolate and candy ALL day.

Since Easter fell on General Conference Sunday, we all stayed in PJ's and were lucky to watch church on TV, and eat good food all day! It was a great day.

Ben finally found his in the dryer!

Baylie the cheater. She convinced her 1st grade brother to tell her where her basket was. I know. What a big, fat cheater! I guess 12 years old is "too cool" to look for baskets of chocolate that a big bunny hid in your house the night before?

The Toothpicks

On Saturday Christian was in a hurry to leave for a meeting. When we are in a rush to get things accomplished, it is the prime time for accidents to happen. In the haste of making dinner and being late, Chris spilled a container of toothpicks. Chris quickly summoned Nolan to come pick up the mess. Nolan quickly responded, "Why do I have to do it?" and started picking up the toothpicks. While he was bent over the toothpicks he murmured again to Chris, "Why am I being punished for Adam's transgressions??"

Okay...Poor Ben! The photography company LOST his whole entire packet!! They do not even have the proofs. So, this is what they sent him home with. A measly, goofy looking I.D. card. What's with the face, I don't know. Maybe it is a good thing his photos were lost! Yes, I did get a refund but to me 4th grade photos are priceless! :(

Took the boys to build "stuff" at Home Depot with their friends, Nathan & Matthew. Then had a picnic at the park!

Ben is learning to use his left hand alot more!

My car smells like poop.

Baylie has had dentist appointments every 3 months that I have had to drag the boys to. It is torture to sit in the waiting room for a whole 30 minutes. Today the weather was fabulous, 70 degrees and sunny! The dentist office is all windows, the scenery is a big open field backing up to a Lifetime Fitness club. Of course I let my little gremlin boys out to play in the big open field where I could see them at all times if I were watching. In the short time Baylie had her teeth cleaned, the boys had filled the back of my truck with rejected tennis balls that have had a home in the mud for months. Maybe it isn't mud...my car smells SO bad!
