Baylie and Delaney. 6th Grade sang "Put on a Happy Face" and
Kindergarten sang "zip-a-dee-do-dah" from Song of the South and "The Bare Necessities" from Jungle Book. The boys were farmers and the girls were bears.


3rd Grade sang two songs from Mary Poppins, "Supercalifragilistic" & "Just a Spoonful of Sugar"

Easter Morning

Yum...chocolate at 6am. Having church at 8:30am, I did not get any of the kids/family before church and after the baskets.

Huh?!

Okay it is really quiet in my house. Ben has a friend over to play. Scared of what I may find, I quietly turn the corner thinking I may find the boys in the back yard blowing up frogs or shooting out car windows with the air soft gun that Chris HAD to buy. Instead, I find the boys sitting quietly folding paper!! I LOVE you art teacher! She taught them some origami tricks in school today. HUH?!! Is this my kid?

Kindergarten Easter Party!

Nolan is smashing an egg filled with confetti on Kevan's head. They really are friends- it just looks bad.

Why do all the kindergartner's want my camera? There is a million sugary snacks, confetti eggs to smash on each others heads, prizes in eggs to discover...but no, they want to take pictures with my camera...hmmm. This is taken by some sticky frosting fingers...of course I am talking telling him how to work the camera...

Tulips for our Teachers!

We made flower arrangements for our school teachers for Easter. We took 2 vases the same height but one fat, one skinny, and put the skinny one inside the other. Added jelly beans, bunny peeps, and tulips! They look way cuter in real life.

Muffy is back!

Last night the kids and I had a conversation all about April Fools day, and all the tricks and pranks we could play on people. This morning we woke up to Nolan screaming "SPIDER...HUGE SPIDER, AND I'M NOT LYING! THIS IS NO JOKE!" There was the tarantula, Muffy, walking down the hall trying to find a cricket for breakfast. She has been free in the house for a whole month and a half roaming. I was hoping if we did ever find her, she'd be a balled up fuzz ball under the guest bed. No such luck...here we go again with the frequent Pet Smart visits for dumb crickets.

Here is Muffy all safe and secure in her tightly locked cage. Home, sweet home.
